Why WTCP Was Created
Wayne RESA’s Teacher Certification Pathway Program (WTCP) began as a pilot in the summer of 2023 after a growing need was identified to increase the number of certified teachers in our Wayne County Identified Classrooms.

 - Individuals enrolled in, or who have completed, an MDE-approved alternate route program but have not yet passed (or never taken) the MTTC/Subject Test for certification.
