Accessibility
We want everyone who visits our website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.
What are we doing?
To help us make the Wayne RESA website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and user-friendly for everyone. This commitment applies to our websites, web applications, documents (PDF, Word, etc.), and multimedia content. We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Wayne RESA website, and our site continues to adopt improvements aligned with WCAG 2.2.
How are we doing?
We monitor the website regularly for accessibility issues, but if you find any problems, please email us at [email protected].
We provide materials in alternate formats or auxiliary aids upon request to ensure effective communication. If you need assistance or wish to file a complaint, contact our ADA Coordinator, Jordan Ewert (Website & Graphic Design Coordinator), at [email protected] or by calling (734) 334-1239.
Do you believe you've experienced disability discrimination from a state department or agency? Are you unable to access a state program, service, or activity due to your disability? The State of Michigan (SOM) Department ADA Coordinators are available to take your complaints. Learn more at the State of Michigan's ADA Compliant Procedure.
